On a nice sunny day in May we did this with a couple of paint brushes and some rather good wood stain.
The woodstain we use for this set of houses in Horwich is a one coat oil based Jacobean Walnut which will protect the wooden windows and doors and give the hardwood a great deep colour.
We really have no problem with garages or conservatories and see them as a challenge. We paint the windows, doors, fascias and soffits, even the meter boxes on these houses.
